ILEX offers the opportunity for you to qualify as a lawyer with or without a degree. Part 1 of a 4 year programme that could enable you to qualify as a solicitor. Professional Diploma in Law. The first 2 years are set at A-Level standard. This enables you to gain the Professional Diploma in Law. Professional Diploma in Law Comprises Part 1 and 2. Part 1 comprises of two modules, Law 1 and Practice 1. Both have to be passed to achieve qualification at this level. The final 2 years are set at degree level and enable you to qualify for Higher National Diploma in Law.

- ILEX Preliminary Certificate in Legal Studies, Candidates are strongly recommended to have gained 4 GCSE subjects (grade C or higher) including English Language or Literature.

Criminal Law Principles of liability. General degences. Participants in a crime. Inchoate offences. Unlawful homicide. Offences under the Thefts Act 1968 and 1978. Criminal damage
Law of Tort (Civil Wrongs)
Specific Torts and defences. Vicarious liability. Limitation of actions. Remedies.
PRACTICE 1 Legal Practice
The legal profession. Professional conduct and etiquette. Finding the law. State funded legal services ( Legal Aid)
Conveyancing
Land and conveyancing. Land registry practice. The conveyancing process. sale/purchase of a registered freehold property. Mortgages. Leasehold conveyancing. The NHBC scheme. National Conveyancing Protocol.
Criminal Procedure
