About the course Illustrators use their creative and artistic skills to create visual communications for products including books, magazines, animations, computer games, websites, brochures and reference materials. On this course you will study a range of exciting illustration-related disciplines, to develop your theoretical and technical knowledge and apply it to your creative and conceptual thinking. As well as developing your creative skills, you will work in an environment in which professional attitudes and practice are encouraged in order to ensure that you leave with the full range of skills needed to market yourself and succeed in the industry.

About this course

A foundation degree will be of particular interest if you have completed a Modern Apprenticeship, vocational A levels, BTEC National or equivalent. Foundation degrees are also particularly suitable if you want to qualify while working. / entry As a guideline, a typical offer would require you to obtain a UCAS tariff score of between points, based on your level 3 studies. Many students studying for foundation degrees come to us through work-based routes so you can apply for a foundation degree even if you don't have traditional academic qualifications. .
