Illustrator for fashion designers (Intermediate)

Suitable for those with some previous experience of Illustrator software, this course is run at the FTM in a brand-new purpose built learning centre equipped with the latest software and facilities.

Developed to meet the specific needs of designers working in the fashion, textiles and jewellery sectors, tuition is in small groups with a focus on your particular learning requirements.

The course fee is £100 for 15 hours tuition over 6 weeks 6.30-9pm on Wednesday evenings.

This course will give you skills and confidence in using Illustrator software to develop more complex designs and presentational material. Aimed at designers who have a basic working knowledge of Illustrator, the course will improve your use of the Pen tool so that you are able to create complex fashion illustrations or textile designs.

The course is run at the Fashion Textile Museum SE1 in a purpose-built learning centre fully equipped with the latest facilities and software, and tuition is in small groups with a focus is on your particular learning requirements. The Illustrator Intermediate course includes the following topics:
• How to create decorative designs and patterns
• How to create ribbing and stitching to enhance your designs
• How to create trims and store them in a library
