Are you interested in working with Adobe Illustrator? This Illustrator beginners' course is for people who are wanting to learn Illustrator from the beginning and have little or no experience.
You will learn from the very bottom up of what the difference is between vector and raster images, as well as to how to create logos and Illustrations and how to save and use them in either web or print.
With this Illustrator Getting Started course, you will learn how to customise your Illustrator interface, in order to help you work more efficiently. You will learn how to create shapes, transform shapes, use stroke and fill and effects, as well as how to save and export.
This Illustrator course is a 1 day instructor-led class which you can take at either the York or London Centre. Class size is limited to ensure proper attention is given to each delegate. The course is supplemented with 12 months access to an online learning system, which has extra course notes, video tutorials, excercises and access to an online instructor-led forum. About this course
Over two days you will learn how to work within Illustrator, understanding vectors and creating paths with the pen tool. You will cover a wide range of other tools such as the shape builder tool, live paint for recolouring objects, warping tools for adjusting and the blend tool to name just a few.
This course is aimed at users who are new to Illustrator or have relatively little experience with the product. Attendees often include graphic designers, digital marketing execs, events executives, fashion designers, marketing professionals, and packaging designers.
You should be computer literate, and comfortable with standard operating system functionality such as copy and paste or opening new files. As the course is a live online course, you will need a machine with Illustrator installed, and a stable internet connection. For the best experience we also recommend a headset and a second monitor, although the course can be completed without these.
This course is taught on the latest version of Illustrator CC by Andy Gardiner, an Adobe Certified Instructor with over 20 years experience. In addition to holding Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Instructor status on Illustrator, Andy is also an Adobe Certified Design Master and a CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer.
Upon receiving your request you will be contacted by one of our training advisors, who will be able to answer any questions you have. They will advise on upcoming course dates, as well as other options such as private team training if appropriate.
The course runs as a regular scheduled live online course, meaning you can attend from your own desk, whilst getting a fully interactive experience in which you can chat with the instructor. It can also be delivered as a private course for groups, either online or face to face.
Yes, we offer private courses either face to face or live online. These are popular for small teams of between 3 and 10 people.
