There are no formal entry requirements, but learners will normally be either practicing or aspiring first line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefot from the course.

Course Aims:
The ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership has been designed to give practicing or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation for their formal development as a leader.
Course Content:
The Certificate consists of 3 mandatory units:
Unit One - Introduction to Leadership - explores different leadership styles and their impacts
Unit Two - Leading a Team Effectively - looks at motivating and developing teams alongside the importance of connecting a team with the vision and strategy of an organisation or project.
Unit Three - Developing Own Leadership Capability - explores own strengths and weaknesses, using action learning as a development tool to progress own indiviudal leadership skills.
