Course programme

Target Audience

This course aims to give practicing team and cell leaders the foundation for becoming more effective and confident in their role. The qualification is equally suitable for members of self-managed teams. They also support new or aspiring team leaders helping them make the transition from working in a team to leading a team.

Course Duration

This course is normally delivered over two days. Delegates who successfully complete the assessments at the end of the course are awarded an Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Level 2 Award in Leadership & Team Skills but may wish to progress to the ILM Level 2 Certificate in Leadership & Team Skills by adding further units to those already achieved or to undertake the ILM Level 2 (NVQ) Diploma in Team Leading. They may wish to progress to the ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management.
