Course AimsThis nationally recognised award is designed primarily to develop core management skills. It is delivered by experienced tutors who have themselves held management positions. Training is practical, participative and linked back to the workplace.
Tutors explore the knowledge, skills and attitudes which are required for effective leadership and management and delegates undertake assessments to ensure that learning is transferred back into the workplace.

Course Duration
This course is normally delivered over four days (24 hours). Delegates who successfully complete the assessments at the end of the course are awarded an Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management. Candidates can progress to the ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management Skills or ILM Level 3, 5 or 7 NVQ Diploma in Management.
