What I would highlight: I found the group at SVT to a great extent accommodating from the beginning. The procedure of organizing and doing training with SVT was clear, basic and all the more it permitted me to finish the modules at my own speed, something which is very primal around a bustling work life.
What could be improved: No negative aspects.

What I would highlight: Highly obliged to whole SVT Team for the great quality and intensive appraisal of the NVQ Diploma Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice. I profitably got over with it in February 2015. The skill and cognitive content amid the NVQ gave me credence to undertake the Open Assessment and Peer Review Interview.

What I would highlight: The motivation I got while doing my Diploma was excellent, I could call Jo Towse at any time whenever I required her and she would give me direction where required. All the staff was encouraging, cordial and the course material was simple to understand. Will further suggest SVT.

What I would highlight: I would exceedingly suggest SVT. I discovered it entirely overwhelming to book myself on a course to advance my vocation, my guide and the staff at SVT were exceptionally useful and steady. I observed that studying here is an extremely affirmative involvement with SVT and my underlying concerns were annihilated when I began the course. I will proceed with my study at SVT.

What I would highlight: I have been extremely content with the administration that SVT have given to me amid my NVQ5 in leadership and management. The archives given were useful and simple to utilize, and my assessor (Cheryl) was quick with reactions to inquiries I had and was instrumental in permitting me to finish the course in great time. I would prescribe the organization to others for its expert and steady way to deal with learning.

Course programme

The ILM Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management is ideal for managers moving into a middle management position, who still retain responsibility for operational processes but are more removed from day to day line management duties. The qualification develops the knowledge and skills required to take on higher level responsibilities such as planning and implementing change. This qualification forms part of the ILM Level 4 Management Apprenticeship.

Diploma Course Structure

This qualification is a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and as such requires that the candidate provides a written account of their work and responsibilities and provide documentary evidence to support this.

To gain this Level 4 Diploma qualification, you must complete 4 mandatory units, amounting to 17 credits, and a choice of optional units, with a minimum total of 53 credits. The mandatory and a sample of the optional units for this qualification are detailed below; further additional optional units are available upon request.

Additional information

This Level 4 Diploma qualification is competence-based. This means that it is linked to a person’s ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work. Assessment is by production of a professional portfolio which comprises of a number of ILM approved units. These are matched to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and are greatly simplified by our online e-learning platform. The candidate submits these electronically to their designated Assessor/Tutor for assessment and subsequent feedback.
