IMI Level 2 Award In Hybrid Vehicle Operations

Who is this course for?

The IMIAL Level 2 Award is a qualification which enables technicians who maintain and repair hybrid technology vehicles to acquire the knowledge and skills to repair and maintain vehicles with hybrid systems safely. The course consists of a single standalone unit on which technicians will gain knowledge of high voltage hybrid technologies and an understanding of their dangers. This qualification will appeal to learners who currently work in the automotive industry but who have little experience with this emerging technology. It will also offer an ideal CPD opportunity for professionals likely to have to deal with incidents in which ensuring a hybrid vehicle needs to be made safe

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

You will require a standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education equivalent to level 1.

What will I study ?

Topics included in this programme include; Health and safety in hybrid engineering and understanding hybrid electric vehicle systems.

How will I be assessed ?

This is a knowledge based unit which is assessed a multiple choice test.

What qualifications could I achieve ?

You will receive a nationally recognised IMI Level 2 Award in Hybrid Electric Vehicle operation and maintenance.
