Introduction to SQL

Gill Campbell

11/10/2017
What I would highlight: Although there were bits of Oracle, mainly the training was about SQL Server (I am an Oracle user but 90% of server will work in Oracle too so not a big issue). I’ve found the venue was central and nice enough but I didn’t like the fact that the classroom was a bit of a squeeze for four laptops and course book.

Introduction to SQL

What I would highlight: The instructor for this course surprised me. The class content was a mix of programming skills. Some of the students had never written a program before, while others had been in the industry for years. But Ruben was able to deal with class in a efficient and friendly way. The course consisted of a block of theory, followed by a hands-on session of writing database. In general, the atmosphere was relaxed.

What I would highlight: It was an excellent course, taught at a pace to suit all students. The tutor answered all questions with joy and helped if we got stuck. I think this course will be suitable for anyone who is new at this software, or just has small amount knowledge of SQL language. Worth the money.

What I would highlight: Great SQL course for beginners. It was well presented with plenty of hands-on exercises. The material covered most of the topics but it wasn’t overwhelming and of course the instructor conveyed the information in a concise manner, plus he knew a lot about the software. 100% recommended.

Introduction to SQL

Josh

What I would highlight: It gave me a solid introduction to SQL and relational databases, starting from foundations and then going little by little into more advanced techniques. The instructor was very supportive; he shared with us some techniques he'd found useful over his long experience with the software. The course materials were top too –and we were able to keep the folder full of notes. I finished the course having a much greater understanding of how to read and write SQL queries.

What I would highlight: All in all, the instructor was highly knowledgeable, the facilities were and the location really easy to find. Understandable training materials that we could take home as well as the exercises with their answers. I knew absolutely nothing about SQL and now I am confident with many of its concepts. Very recommended.

What I would highlight: Overall, the course was well-structured and difficulty rises in line you’re your own knowledge. My instructor knew very well the subject and was happy to answer all my inquiries, and he made sure that I was completely sure of my understanding of each topic before moving on. I would certainly take more courses with my trainer and recommended them to my employers.
