Implementing and Managing Microsoft Exchange 2000

Aims and Objectives
Set up and administer domain user accounts and groups.
Create a Microsoft Windows 2000 domain by installing Active Directory on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
Configure the DNS Server service to support Active Directory.
Publish resources - including shared folders, printers and services - in Active Directory.
Describe the logical and physical components of Active Directory.

Target Audiences
This course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure and administer Microsoft Windows 2000 active directory service.

Prerequisites
Delegates should have successfully completed Supporting Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and Server or have the equivalent knowledge and skills. Delegates should also have successfully completed Implementing a Network Infrastructure using Microsoft Windows 2000 or have equivalent knowledge and skills.
