Andy has run Highlander for over 25 years and is an Adobe Certified Instructor, Adobe Certified Design Master, CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer and In5 Certified Professional. He specialises in delivering courses at all levels on tools including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects. In recent years Andy has delivered courses for staff from organisations including Burberry, Manchester City FC, Joe Browns, Mishcon de Reya, Bank of England, Aviva, Lloyds Banking Group, LNER, Eversheds, Interflora and a range of NHS, Police and Government organisations.

Course programme

The course starts out by explain basic concepts such as margins, bleed settings, and facing pages. You will then learn how to setup new documents, add and format text using a wide range of tools, place images on the page, and apply a variety of effects.

As you progress through the course you learn to work with tables, set up bullet and numbered lists, using paragraph and character styles, pre-flight your documents and output to a variety of formats.
