About this course
Over two days you will learn more advanced techniques allowing you to get more from InDesign and make your work more efficient. You will master more advanced styles such as Object and Table styles, learn how to generate an automated table of contents, create custom shaped frames, as well as include a wide range of interactive features in your documents. Additionally you will learn more advanced techniques for working with images in InDesign, advanced features for importing content from Word and Excel, how to apply GREP styles, work with CC libraries, and merge content from data files.
Existing InDesign users who wish to take their skills to the next level and learn more advanced techniques.
You should be computer literate, and comfortable with standard operating system functionality such as copy and paste or opening new files. As the course is a live online course, you will need a machine with InDesign installed, and a stable internet connection. For the best experience we also recommend a headset and a second monitor, although the course can be completed without these.
In addition you should already be comfortable working with the basics of InDesign, laying out pages with text and images and using the InDesign interface.
This course is taught on the latest version of InDesign by Andy Gardiner, an Adobe Certified Instructor with over 20 years experience. In addition to holding Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Instructor status on InDesign, Andy is also an Adobe Certified Design Master and a CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer as well as being an In5 Certified Professional.
Upon receiving your request you will be contact by one of our training advisors, who will be able to answer any questions you have. They will advise on upcoming course dates, as well as other options such as private team training if appropriate.
The course runs as a regular scheduled live online course, meaning you can attend from your own desk, whilst getting a fully interactive experience in which you can chat with the instructor. It can also be delivered as a private course for groups, either online or face to face.
