About this course

Students in one of the JKU’s three Master’s degree programs in Mathematics hone unique skills and learn to specialize, prioritize, and broaden their expertise in a variety of fields. The program features a wide selection of classes - some held in English – allowing you to tailor the program to your personal interests and career aspirations. Projects conducted together with industrial partners and companies, often in conjunction with the Master's thesis, give students exciting insight into future career prospects.

Graduates of the JKU’s Master’s degree programs in Mathematics are highly qualified to:

Be an active part of a team and communicate effectively with experts in advanced fields of application
Independently conduct scientific mathematical analyses (such as base-knowledge research, developing methodologies, or mathematical applications)
Pursue advanced independent studies in a specialized field

BA Technical Mathematics (JKU) or an undergraduate degree program equivalent in content and scope.
