INFANT TODDLER WORKSHOP
This workshop gives students insight into the emotional and psychological development of babies and toddlers, from birth to three years of age. It focuses on developmentally appropriate activities for this age group and looks carefully at the ways in which children in this age group learn. The workshop also explores the importance of observation and language acquisition. Working in partnership with staff and parents is also discussed. During the workshop students will make a visit to a day nursery.
Compulsory for MCI Infant Toddler Course students who are working towards their Stage 2 Certificate .
Number of contact hours: 50 over 10 days. Check times with your chosen centre.
