Course Description:
It is ideal for those who wish to enhance their knowledge
and management of infection control, infectious diseases
and actions that can be taken to restrict the spread of
infection.

Description Breakdown:
Employees work through distance learning training materials at
their own pace. Support is available from a tutor.
Dration: Four to six months.
Learning activities and assessments are based on a
combination of knowledge and skills learned on the
programme, work-based activities and experience.
By the end of the training, employees should be able to:
• practise infection control
• identify infection and infectious diseases
• prevent the spread of infection.
