The Programme
The overall aim of this course is to encourage candidates to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of ICT and to provide the knowledge and skills suitable for participation in an evolving information based society. The course provides a focus to develop these skills whilst ensuring that candidates acquire a sound knowledge of ICT.
The Programme Content
AS Level ICT consists of two units:
Unit 1 - Practical Problem Solving in the Digital World
Unit 2 - Living in the Digital World
A2 Level ICT consists of two units:
Unit 3 - The Use of ICT in the Digital World
Unit 4 - Coursework: Practical Issues Involved in the Use of ICT
in the Digital World
