Course Structure

The IGCSE Information, Communication & Technology course is designed to follow the structure of Edexcel specification 4TI0 and is divided in to five course module

Unit 1: Hardware, software, memory and storage

The first unit starts by looking at the computer and processing in general terms; what are these devices and how can we use them in everyday life. The unit also looks at methods of data storage and backup

Unit 2: Word processing, desk top publishing and spreadsheets

Word processing is perhaps the most common tool of computing – this unit explores word processing and formatting concepts and also explores desk top publishing in terms of enhancing documents and modelling

Unit 3: Databases, graphics and presentation software
