About the course As information systems increase in size and complexity, there is a growing need for people with specialist skills who can interpret the informational needs of organisations and translate them into business applications. This course will provide you with these skills and demonstrate how you can exploit and integrate existing software, design information systems and develop the technical ability to interact with business analysts, computer programmers, software engineers and computer scientists. You will also learn to work with web database management systems, decision support systems and data mining, and develop a deep understanding of the integration of industrial standard technologies and advanced information technology strategies, including grid and cloud computing.
