Content
The principle learning units look at how organisations work and the role technology can play; learn what different people in the industry do as well as how to manage projects; design new business solutions; develop websites; manage networks and deliver IT support. You will also learn how to create digital media solutions. This course aims to inspire learners through the exploration of real-world integrations of technology into business.
A 10 day work experience block plus additional / specialist learning units chosen from a range of options, including GCSE subjects, are integral to this course.
Assessment
A range of assessment methods will be used within this course; these will include internally set exams, internally set assignments, projects and an externally set exam for one unit.
Progression
This course will prepare you for entry into employment, an apprenticeship or for further study at Level 3 such as an Advanced Diploma, A levels or a BTEC National Diploma.
