A Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship will give you valuable experience within the IT industry. Whether it is working as a Help Desk Technician, First or Second Line Support, IT Infrastructure Technician, Network Support, this apprenticeship will pair you with one of the many highly successful local businesses specialising in IT hardware/software use and support.
You will come to college one day a week where you will explore and research the latest developments in IT software and hardware, working processes and practices. The remainder of the week you will be working alongside the experts in the industry as part of the workforce of one of the locally based business.

About this course
You will need to show a strong commitment to pursuing a career within the IT Infrastructure/Support industry and keen interest in developing your IT Skills and knowledge. Ideally will have completed a relevant Level 3 qualification.
You will require a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C). Alternatively, successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification and have achieved a Level 2 Functional Skill in English, maths and ICT
