& Pneumococcal vaccinations to adults.
Health Care Assistants MUST have an NVQ level 3 or be working towards and have at least 2 years
experience within the Health Care Assistant role working within General Practice.

Programme Outline:
This course has been developed in line with National Guidance from the Health Protection Agency (2005) it aims to provide an opportunity for clinicians’ to develop an underpinning knowledge and awareness on current immunisation best practice by:
Raising the profile of immunisation, to prevent disease outbreak and ultimately eradicate disease
Enabling clinicians to competently immunise against influenza & Pneumococcal disease, equipping them with the capacity to transmit evidence based knowledge and practice to others.
Developing Clinicians’ from novice to expert within their scope of competence.
