Are you ready to work in the Electrical Industry? SWET offers this vocational qualification with which you will enter this industry full of confidence, knowledge and skills.

The main goal is to prepare candidates for the City & Guilds 2395 Examination and completion of the Electrical Installation Condition Report. It is for aimed at practising electricians who are conversant with inspection and testing. The qualification is not suitable for those with limited experience of initial inspection of electrical installations, such as those entering the industry from other engineering disciplines or who have been working in allied trades.

About this course

To enable candidates to become familiar with the requirements of both Initial Verification & Periodic Inspection & Testing and completion of the Electrical Installation Certificate and the Electrical Installation Condition Report.

Electricians, Domestic Installers, Apprentices and associated trades

Candidates must bring their current copy of IET Guidance Note 3.

Candidates on this course should preferably hold the City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and have a practical working knowledge of installations including 3 phase installations.

Operatives should have on site experience of electrical installations. Alternatively candidates may wish to try the Level 2 Fundamentals to Inspection & testing

This is a Level 3 Inspection and testing qualification also known as 2391, 2394, 2395, EAL combined 4337, 4338
