Every business no matter how small needs a bookkeeper, all businesses have to keep financial records. Bookkeeping is about understanding how a business works and then providing accurate figures that enable the business to know exactly how well it is doing. Career opportunities are excellent for good bookkeepers.

About this course

Once students have achieved the Level 1 Certificate in Basic Bookkeeping, they make take the Level 2 Certificate in Manual Bookkeeping and/or Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Bookkeeping. Premier Training would advise students to study for both but this is not essential as you only need to take one exam at Level II.

The ICB qualifications are awarded at three levels:

Examination dates:
Manual exams are normally held in February, June and October of each year. Computerised exams are on demand and are available most weeks of the year.
