Course Description
Do you want to be working in an exciting job in Multimedia or Website Design? This is a new course being offered at Stow College that will give you the skills, confidence to be able to pursue a career in a number of dynamic and exciting fields or go to University and further your studies in this area.

Preferred Entry Requirements
One Higher Grade pass, 4 Standard Grade passes. Alternatively a suitable set of NC modules or NQ units, or any other relevant qualifications will be considered. Suitable work experience will be considered as an alternative to qualifications. Candidates over 21 will be considered without the above qualifications.

Some of the subjects you will study on this course are: Interactive Media Planning; Working within a project team; Interactive Media: Authoring; User Interface Design; Digital Imaging: Bitmap & Vector; Graphics; Project Management; Digital Composition; Human Computer Interface; Professional Issues.

Progression
Employment: Web Developer and/or a Multimedia developer. Entry to Degree programmes in Multimedia. * Course subject to validation
