About this course

As a BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Venue Design graduate, you are ideally prepared for employment opportunities covering everything from generic architectural or interior design to venue project management and technical consultancy. Course programme

What you will study

Foundation year

You will study modules such as:
  • Preliminary Mathematics
  • Scholarship for Technologists
  • Technology Project (double module)
  • Introduction to Design
  • Construction Science
You will then study a total of 120 credits per year full time and a maximum of 80 credits per year part time. This will be made up of single and double modules.

Stage one

You will study modules such as:
  • Studio Design and Personal Development
  • Design Analysis and Personal Development
  • Technology and Structures 1
  • Environmental Design and Services
  • Architectural CAD
  • History and Theory of Design and Architecture 1
Stage two

You will study modules such as:
  • Studio Design 2 and Personal Development Part A

  • Interior Design
  • History and Theory of Design and Architecture 2
Placement year

Optional placement year, including Diploma in Professional Practice
