Course programme
The course consists of a wide range of projects including creating working environments, designs for exhibitions, film and television and the leisure and entertainment market. This course is an exercise in the design process where you will learn about the importance of communication of atmosphere, materials and scale.
You will be shown how to develop a two-dimensional idea into a complete three-dimentional project. Each student will be encouraged to produce a body of work that will provide a more tangible focus to their aspirations.
You will be shown different drawing examples and techniques, and how to express an atmosphere showing colours and materials, and produce work using these different methods. Depending on time and progress there will also be visits to sites/exhibitions in central London relevant to the course.
There will not be a written assessment of work – the week is intended to push students, produce work for their portfolio, and be good fun.
