On this practical short course you will learn how to design the interior space of one room to use as a starting point for further rooms. This could be a room in your home that needs updating or an interior space for a friend or colleague.
You will learn about determining space requirements, generating design ideas and selecting decorative items, such as colours, lighting, furnishings and materials.
You will also learn how to create and interpret a plan and elevation drawing and gain an awareness of relevant regulations and standards.

About this course
- determine project goals and objectives
- generate ideas for the aesthetic and functional possibilities of your chosen interior space
- draw a scale plan and elevation for your project
- select and specify a range of fixtures, furnishings, products, materials and colours
