Interior designer course

The Interior Designer, more commonly known as Interior Architect, is an increasingly widespread professional figure, even in Italy. He deals with the design of the interior spaces of homes, offices, commercial activities, accommodation facilities, referring to two fundamental criteria: functionality and aesthetic sense. A good Interior Designer must necessarily combine different skills, which allow him to satisfy the client's needs in aesthetic, functional and technological terms. To carry out this profession it is necessary to have basic notions of architecture, art history and design. Furthermore, an Interior Architect is required to have a good knowledge of marketing, as well as having an excellent command of programs such as photoshop, illustrator, autocad, etc. Some basic rudiments of hydraulics and lighting are also fundamental. Finally, it is important that Interior Design has a good propensity for constant updating. This will allow him to know the latest trends and news in the sector, to satisfy customer requests. The mission of the Interior Designer is to interpret the needs and desires of the client, designing and creating spaces and environments that reflect them. The interior architect must first of all meet the client and take a look at the environment on which he will have to work. After having developed a general idea of ​​the intervention he will do, he proceeds with the elaboration of the actual project (containing detailed information about the interventions to be performed, the materials to be used, the furniture and design objects to choose, the expected costs). In order to carry out the profession of Interior Designer it is necessary to follow a path that allows you to specialize in the design of different types of spaces.
