Careers Progression: This is an introductory course for supervisors in health and safety that can lead onto a career in health and safety with the addition of advance training.

Course Description:
This qualification will enable managers and supervisors to improve the health and safety culture of their organisation, whatever its size or activity

Description Breakdown:
This course provides an opportunity to look more deeply into general health and safety from a supervisors perspective, and successful candidates will be able to help their organisations to improve their health and safety culture. The content of the course includes: health & safety concepts, accidents, ill health, the law, health & safety management and the supervision of health & safety.
At the end of the course the learner will complete a two-hour multi-choice examination. A pass mark of 60% is required for success. Candidates who score 80% or above will receive a credit pass.
