An Apprenticeship is a national work-based training programme designed for individual industries. Apprenticeships are a great way of earning and learning at the same time. The floristry Apprenticeship is the perfect way to start your career with flowers; gaining qualifications and work experience across some of the busy seasons like Valentine’s and Mother’s Day. Job roles for the Floristry Apprenticeship include:

Level 2 (Intermediate Level Apprenticeship)
•   Assistant Florist
•   Delivery Driver
•   Flower Cutter/Conditioner
•   Florist
You will study towards a Level 2 in Floristry as well as completing functional skills in Maths and English level 1. As an additional requirement for the Floristry Apprenticeship, apprentices will also complete a one day first aid course and have the option to complete Floristry Skills competition work.
You will learn through a mix of work-related activities and independent study and research. Assessment is on a continuous basis with a number of assessments in each module. Assessments take a variety of forms, such as written reports, witness statements, observations and professional discussions.
