About this course

This course is aimed at a person wishing to enter the International Trade and Maritime Industry, a new recruit starting in the industry or someone who wishes to complement or certify their existing knowledge base.

There is no previous experience or qualifications required for enrolment.
It is available to all students aged 18 or over, of all academic backgrounds.
Basic understanding of English language is required to attend this course.
You’ll need a smart device (PC/Mac/Tablet) with an internet connection.

Duration
  • 2 weeks part time or 4 days full time.
  • Part time studies - where you study part time in the evenings and on weekends using our online training program.

  • Personal e-Tutor - You will be nominated a personal e-Tutor, all communication with your e-Tutor will be done via email. You may contact your e-Tutor at any time regarding your course.

  • Online exams - Each week you will be sent an email notifying you of the exam/s that are due to be completed by you. These exams help you in your studies and keep you on track with the course timetable.
  • Past exam papers - past exam papers are available for download with your course notes.

Course Structure
  • A soft copy of your full course module in a PDF format will be available on the e-campus for you to download. You will then be able to print a hard copy for study purposes if you choose. Pass mark = 65%
  • This module has two online exams, one exam a week is planned, request for additional time is permitted.
  • Recommended study time set aside – we recommend 5 to 7 hours per week for each module/pilot certificate i.e. the part time 2 week pilot certificate course will need 10 to 15 hours. The time will vary depending on the students original knowledge of the course material.

Passing your course
  • On successfully passing your certificate course you will receive an e-certificate via email.
