You will Learn: How to protect the computer users in your household from unwanted internet intrusions. Issues such as Pop up adverts, identity theft, viruses, cookies, hackers and safe downloads are all covered as part of the course. Available protection measures including firewalls, anti virus software, computer security settings, where to go for help. The course will also look at online forms, government websites, paying bills online.

Assessment and Accreditation

Continual assessment is agreed between you and your tutor developing either a paper or online portfolio of evidence. At the end of the course your tutor can provide a certificate of completion from Middlesbrough Council.
