Discover a core element in the process of producing and organising your workflow from digital to physical. Autocad, also referred to simply as CAD, will provide you with valuable tools that allow for precision and accuracy where this is required for physical outputs. In this hands-on course, you will work through methods that will enable you to learn many of the processes and tools of this application.
Who should take this course?
- Those who want to design furniture, create building and interior plans or draw schematics for laser cutting and CNC milling.
- Anyone working in spatial design, such as product designers and artefact creators.
Topics covered
There will be an introduction to CAD terminology and principles.
Through practise you will develop confidence and familiarity with working in 2D to create plans and diagrams.
The content and workflows for the course have been developed through teaching and working with architects, product designers, art directors and interior designers.
