Paul Bradford
Cake Designer
Paul Bradford has a wealth of experience. He heads up a team of designers, annually makes cakes for royalty in the UK and in April 2010 made a cake for Prince Albert of Monaco in front of 100 Italian Cuisine students. He has a passion for teaching and explains a lot more than simply the course syllabus.
Course programme
Time: 9.30 - 5 pm
The price includes lunch, use of equipment with the finished cake to take home to show off to your friends.
Introduction Course - Round Bow
- 9:30am - 9:45am - Introductions, food hygiene, health and safety
- 9:45am - 10:30am - Prepare the hearts, stars and balls
- 10:30 - 12am Levelling, shaping and covering the cake
- 12am - 1pm - Buffet lunch with Paul
- 1pm - 1:30pm - Icing the board then transferring cake onto iced board
- 1:30pm - 2:15pm - Create the pastillage bow
- 2:15pm - 3:45pm - Bring the cake together
- 3:45pm - 4pm - coffee break
- 4pm - 4:45pm - Finishing magical touches
- 4:45pm - 5pm - Wipe down and group picture
