Course programme

What will I learn?

A range of topics will be covered during the course including golf course construction, turf grass identification and production, soils and root zones and golf course tournament preparation.

How will I learn?

The course is a combination of both theoretical and practical subjects using the extensive resources at Elmwood, including 18 hole golf course.

Progression opportunities

On successful completion students can progress to the NC Greenkeeping course, SVQ Level 2/3 Sports Turf Maintenance course, the HNC Golf course Management, HNC Golf Facility Management course or employment.
