Course programme
This course is aimed at those seeking a comprehensive introduction to the use of InDesign, looking at layouts including magazines, books, leaflets and portfolios all using text and image. We will familiarise ourselves with the software interface and its fundamental toolsets and explore many of its more complex and creative features. You will learn how to use type to effectively communicate your chosen message when designing your layouts. Confidence will be gained through an understanding of type hierarchy and how different fonts can say different things to your audience. You will have a chance to work within a group designing to a brief but also on your own to make your ideas a reality.
