"OBJECTIVE/OUTCOME The 1 day Workshop will be conducted using a mix of Knowledge Sharing and Practice based on the following: An introduction to Generational Behaviour & Influences Building a MultiGenerational Matrix Contextual Application to Workplace COURSE OUTLINE Concept 1 (An introduction to Generational Behaviour & Influences) This module explores the mean behavioral characteristics and behavioral differences between the commonly segregation by Generation; Baby Boomers, Generations X, Y and Z customers. The participants will have a basic understanding of these different segregation and be able to correlate them back to observed behaviour in the workplace. Concept 2 (Building a MultiGenerational Matrix) This module allows particpants to work in teams to construct a simple 1 x 1 MultiGenerational Matrix and possibly even a 2X2 MultiGenerational Matrix, which will encompass a wider collection of distinctions such as Gender, Culture or Religion in addition to Age (Generation). Concept 3 (Contextual Application to Workplace) This module builds on the previous 2 Concepts and looks at Workplace examples. Then, using the MutliGenerational Matrix as a guide (construct), they will then present how the understanding of the 2 concepts will aid the team in the formulation of a strategy to reduce Generational Conflict (aka Generational Gaps) and make more effective use of the diversity in the teams."
