This course has been designed to provide you with an awareness of the 'National Early Warning Score' in its current form (aka. NEWS2).
This course will cover the following:

By the end of this course, you will be able to read a NEWS2 chart and will understand the numerical scoring system. You will also know the physiological parameters that are included in NEWS2. It also covers the use of NEWS2 in identifying and monitoring sepsis.
The purpose of the course is not to measure competency in diagnosing or treating patients with sepsis, nor is it meant to be used to measure competency in completing a NEWS2 chart.
