This course is an introduction to photography and a good preparation course for entry to NC / NQ level photography courses. We'll introduce you to the basics of camera controls, composition and image capture and you'll also have access to our darkroom facilities.Although the focus of the course is digital photography, you may have the opportunity to use film cameras and work in a traditional darkroom to produce black and white prints. The college can provide some equipment, however we encourage you to bring your own DSLR camera. Students may be required to buy some course materials costing approx £10. For Digital photography classes it is recommended you bring a USB stick, or a storage device.
