Introduction to Policy Making

The ability to devise deliverable, accountable and successful internal policy capable of galvanising interest and support from government is a core prerequisite of any policy role.

Whether you are a Policy Officer, working within an NGO or Policy Manager working within a large corporate organisation, the need for accuracy and clarity in the formation of any given policy idea is crucial. With all this in mind, the "Introduction to Policy Making" course has been designed to provide clear unbiased instruction on how to devise deliverable, well constructed and accountable policy.

Using a structured model framework, participants on this course will be taught how to devise and evaluate the policy they create, as well as gain guidance on how to promote such policy externally. The course also looks at how an organisation can then take their policy initiative to the decision-making arena of Whitehall.
