Course programme

Summary course information

Essentially, IOSH Managing Safely is a four/five-day awareness course. However, we can deliver the IOSH Managing Safely course over a week (the standard format) or over two or more weeks (for local venues only). The interactive format is similar to that of the Working Safely programme except, of course, the subjects are covered in a little more depth.

Minimum class size is four students.

Who will benefit from an IOSH Managing Safely Course?

Owners of micro-businesses (fewer than five employees) find this course a useful introduction to managing safety in their organisations. However, for more breadth and depth of coverage owners are advised strongly to take the NVQ3, NEBOSH or higher programmes.

When and where will IOSH Managing Safely Courses be held?

Currently, these courses are run on an in-company basis, but we anticipate scheduling open courses next year. Therefore, subject to tutor availability, we can make this programme available to organisations at a time to suit them. The venues and refreshments are to be made available by the client. The Minimum class size is four students.
