The objective of the course is to give managers and supervisors a greater understanding of their own health and safety responsibilities within the workplace.

Managers and supervisors in any industry in any sector.

There are no pre-requisites for this course.

IOSH Managing Safely

The course trainer has 15 years experience working in health and safety and over 30 years experience as a trainer. The IOSH Managing Safely course is nationally recognised and gives candidates a good grounding for their health and safety responsibilities.

The course is designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

The assessment is by form of a 30 question multi-format question paper and a work-place risk assessment project.
