The course is specially designed for managers, supervisors and team leaders within the engineering and construction industry. In just 4 days the course covers a wide range of topics that enables delegates to work safely and to handle health and safety in their teams. To that end, students will learn the parts of a safety management system, how to prepare schedules and monitoring checklists, as well as reporting procedures. They will also understand the main terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, among others.
Upon completion of the 4 days learning, delegates must undergo a written assessment. Apart from that, they also have to deliver a Risk Assessment Project outside course hours in order to be awarded with the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
