Course programme
The working safely training accredited by the institute of Occupational safety and health (IOSH) is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge required to understand their Health and Safety Responsibilities in the workplace and enable them to contribute to the improvement of Health and safety performance. An important aspect of health and safety as a key responsibility for all employees not something that can be left to the management. Who should attend? Working safely is for people at any level, in any sector, needing grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ – and this course offers exactly that. On successful completion of the course, the delegates will be able to: •Understand the moral, legal and financial need for working safely. •Define “Hazard” and “Risk” •Identify common hazards faced by employees in the workplace. •Assist Employers with improving safety performance in the workplace •Appreciate the fundamentals of environmental waste and pollution management. Learning Approach and Duration Forget ‘chalk and talk’. It is time to turn traditional training on its head. We inspire delegates, to get them engaged with health and safety. If learning is enjoyable and stimulating we stand a better chance of getting vital health and safety messages across.
