IOSH Working Safely is a one-day basic health and safety awareness course.
Minimum class size is five students.
This new version is proving to be highly popular, owing to its highly interactive structure.
When and where will courses be held?
Currently, these courses are run on an in-company basis, but we anticipate scheduling open courses next year. Therefore, subject to tutor availability, we can make this programme available to organisations at a time to suit them. The venues and refreshments are to be made available by the client. The Minimum class size is four students.
Course details
Those who successfully complete the multiple-choice and practical papers can choose either an IOSH Working Safely certificate or an IOSH Passport card.
The main subject areas are as follows:
- Module 1 - Introducing working safely
- Module 2 - Defining hazard and risk
- Module 3 - Identifying common hazards
- Module 4 - Improving safety performance
- Module 5 - Protecting our environment
