Course Overview:
Working safely is a one-day course for people at any level, in any sector, needing a grounding of health and safety. It focuses on why health and safety is important, and how you can make a real difference to the wellbeing of yourself and others through changing your behaviour.
It focuses on best practice rather than legislation, it's suitable for delegates from around the world, and not just those from the UK.
Working safely meets the Government's guidelines for introductory health and safety training and is a 100% match to the Health and Safety Executive's 'passport' syllabus.
IOSH’s one-day Working safely course, has now been recognised by CSCS as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in health and safety in a construction environment. It means that delegates who successfully complete Working Safely can apply for a CSCS green Labourer card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test.
The IOSH Courses are nationally recognised and respected qualifications, designed and quality controlled by the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.
