iPowerboat - RYA Powerboat Level 1 - Glencoe/Ballachulish, near Fort William. Scotland

This course is an introduction to boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment.

It can either be taken as a stand-alone course or integrated into the two day Level 2 course.

Assumed knowledge: None.

Duration: 1 day. Max 3 persons per boat.

Minimum Age: 8

Subjects covered: Basic boat handling, safety and rules of the road. Launching and recovery. Ropes and knots.

Suitable for: Beginners. Ideal as a gift for birthdays or Christmas. Great children's course.
