This practcical course is directly relevant to the needs of Local Government officers who are concerned with the working of Council Tax and other aspects of local government finance. The course:

It leads to the professional examination of the IRRV (Institute of Revenues, Ratings & Valuation).

Study Mode & Location:
This one year course will last for 4 hours per week. It will be held at Preston College, Fulwood Campus, St Vincent`s Road, Preston, PR2 8UR.

Subjects studied on this Housing Benefit Technicians course are:

Housing & Council Tax Benefits Administration.

Introduction to Housing & Council Tax Benefits Law.

Introduction to Council Tax Law.

Assessment:
This course is assessed by examinations.

How To Apply
You will need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
