ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst inc Revision and Exams Online

This online course (120 days access) prepares students for the ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst exam (Certified Tester Advanced Level CTAL) based on the ISTQB Advanced level syllabus. It extends the knowledge gained in the ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing and is one of three certificated courses to support Advanced Level in the ISTQB scheme.

The Advanced Technical Test Analyst course is suitable for those actively involved in the analysis, specification, design and execution aspects of software testing and in particular the technical aspects of software testing in relation to structure-based techniques, static & dynamic analysis, testing of software characteristics plus test tools & automation. The course, which is fully compliant with the syllabus and its prescribed learning objectives, contains 10 key modules:

3. Testing Processes;
4. Test Management;
5. Test Techniques;
6. Test of Software Characteristics;
7. Reviews;
8. Incident Management;
9. Test Tools & Automation;
10. People Skills & Team Composition.

The qualification is assessed by means of a three-hour, multiple-choice examination, which can be booked separately. Candidates are required to hold the ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing as a minimum before sitting the exam.
